Nui CEO Darren Olayan claims securities regulation doesn’t exist

Nui CEO Darren Olayan has taken to Facebook to claim the securities regulations behind a recently served cease and desist don’t exist.Texas issued Olayan, Nui, Mintage Mining and Symatri with a securities fraud cease and desist on July 11th.
At a corporate level Nui has vowed to “vigorously defend” Texas’ alleged securities fraud violations, although what that specifically entails remains unclear.
Olayan’s bizarre regulation claim meanwhile was made in a Facebook video published a few hours ago.
Filming while walking down a suburban street, Olayan claims he’s “amped out of his mind” after “taking serious phone calls” all day.

Michael Force “uncooperative”, unpaid attorneys want out ($90,000+)

The client relationship between Michael Force and his attorneys has reached breaking point, with all three requesting permission to withdraw from the case.Suggesting he was aware of an investigation well before the FTC’s January 29th filed complaint, on January 15th Force hired three attorneys to represent them.
The same attorneys also represented co-defendants Digital Altitude, Mary Dee and Thermography for Life.
Since January Force (right) and his co-defendants have racked up over $90,000 in legal fees.
Back in May Force and Mary Dee demanded access to $100,000 in fraudulently obtained funds to fund their legal defense. The motion remains pending.

Nui and Mintage Mining to “vigorously defend” securities cease & desist

Although we’d caught wind of it a day before, yesterday Nui published it’s official response to the Texas cease and desist.Following months of assurances that Nui, Mintage Mining, Symatri and the Kala altcoin had been signed off on by “top law firms in the US”, Texas issued the company with a securities fraud cease earlier this week on Wednesday.
In light of the notice, Nui has advised affiliates it has “cease(d) offering” its products ‘in the state of Texas for the time being‘.
Despite Texas securities law being materially indifferent from federal securities law, Nui and owner Darren Olayan are continuing to offer unregistered…

Amazing Living offer affiliates Xalles Holdings shares. Um, why?

A few months ago we covered Amazing Living’s apparent unregistered securities offering.So the offer went, a prepaid debit card was to be distributed to Amazing Living affiliates. Through use of the card, stock in an undisclosed company would be awarded.
The name of the company stock was to be issued from was not disclosed. And since the late April announcement, details of Amazing Living’s debit card stock offering have since been wiped from the internet.
Now the company is back with a new stock offering, tweaked and this time with a little more disclosure.

YouTube added to defendants in BitConnect fraud class-action

A third amended complaint has seen YouTube added as a defendant in the ongoing BitConnect fraud class-action.Originally filed in a Florida District Court back in February, Mengesha v. Bitconnect International PLC et al. was approved as a class-action last month.
A third amended complaint in the lawsuit was filed on July 3rd.
In addition to BitConnect as a corporate identity and several individual defendants, YouTube has now also been added.
The issue taken with the video platform is its partnership with top BitConnect investors.
Several of the Affiliate Promoter Defendants had partnerships with YouTube pursuant to which BitConnect disseminated fraudulent and harmful content to unsuspecting victims…

Nui & Mintage Mining securities fraud cease and desist in Texas

Despite reassurances by Nui that their Kala altcoin and Mintage Mining have “stability and protection with the SEC“, a US securities regulator has issued the company with a cease and desist.The Texas Securities Board issued an emergency cease and desist notice to Nui on July 11th.
Named as respondents in the notice are Symatri LLC, Mintage Mining, BC Holdings and Investments LLC, Social Membership Network Holding LLC, Nui Social, Darren Olayan (right), William Douglas Whetsell and Wyatt McCullough (Nui affiliates).
As per the notice, the Securities Board alleges
(Darren) Olayan controls Mintage Mining.
Mintage Mining is illegally and fraudulently issuing and offering two different investments in cryptocurrency…

Responsive design…

I implemented responsive design on BehindMLM a few years back and general consensus is that mobile users were happy with the desktop version of the site.The sidebars are first to go and while I can have them below the article, due to their vertical layout it doesn’t sit right.
Anyway since then mobile users can request a desktop version easily enough so I don’t think it’s much of an issue if I strip things down for a small screen visitors.
A few days ago I noticed Google showing me warnings about BehindMLM not being “mobile optimized” in its organic search results.
